+91 4144 238 248Annamalai University is recognised by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, which entitles it to award degrees and to receive central grants. The recognition is permanent, subject to the university continuing to meet the Commission's conditions.
Professional programmes carry separate statutory approval from the regulator for that profession. A university degree in engineering, pharmacy, law, teaching or nursing is valid only where that approval is in force, so the dates below are worth checking before you accept an admission offer.
Copies of every approval letter are kept in the Registrar's office and may be inspected on any working day. The university also publishes them in its annual report.
