The application fee is not refunded if you are later found ineligible, so check the eligibility column before paying.
An acknowledgement is sent by SMS and email within an hour of payment. If it does not arrive, check the spam folder before calling the admissions office — the acknowledgement is generated automatically and is almost never lost.
Applications are screened for eligibility first, then ranked. Where a programme requires an entrance test, the test score is combined with the qualifying examination marks in the ratio published with the admission notice for that programme.

Photographs larger than 2 MB, marksheets photographed at an angle, and signatures on lined paper account for most returned applications. Scan at 200 dpi, crop to the edge of the document, and check that the roll number and the seal are legible before uploading. A rejected upload does not lose your form — you can replace a document until the window closes.
Can I save the form and finish it later?
Yes. The form saves every two minutes and can be resumed with your application number and password. An incomplete application expires after seven days of inactivity, after which you must start again.
What if the payment succeeds but the form does not submit?
Do not pay a second time. Note the transaction reference and call the admissions office on +91 4144 238 250. Payments are reconciled daily, and a confirmed payment is applied to your application within one working day.
Can I edit my programme choice after submitting?
You may change your programme once, before the window closes, from the applicant dashboard. After 30 June no change is possible, and a change of programme after admission requires a transfer approved by both Boards of Studies.
Do I need to send printed copies by post?
No. The application is entirely online, and printed copies are collected only at document verification if you are offered a seat. Keep the originals safe until then.
Problems with the form, a payment or a document upload are handled by the admissions office.
