Official academic transcripts, sealed and sent directly to the institution that asks for them.
A transcript is the complete academic record of a programme: every paper attempted, the marks obtained, credits where the programme uses them, the division awarded, the date of the degree and the Registrar's signature and seal. It is not a photocopy of a marksheet, and a notarised marksheet is not a substitute.
Transcripts are prepared by the records office from the examination register, not from the copy you supply. If your marksheet and the register disagree, the register prevails and the discrepancy is investigated before the transcript is issued.
Format 01
A signed PDF sent directly to the receiving institution's official email address. Accepted by most universities in India and abroad.
Format 02
Printed on security paper, signed and sealed, posted in an envelope that must arrive unopened to be accepted.
Format 03
For your own records, marked 'not for admission'. Not accepted as an official transcript by any institution.

Step 01
Apply online with your roll number, programme, year of passing and the name and address of each receiving institution.
Step 02
Pay per copy. One payment covers one destination, whether digital or posted.
Step 03
The records office checks the marksheet against the register and prepares the transcript. Five working days.
Step 04
Digital copies are emailed; sealed prints are posted, with a tracking number sent by SMS.
▪
Check that your name and date of birth match the register. A correction takes two weeks and must be completed first.
▪
A transcript shows backlogs and attempts. It cannot be issued 'without failed papers'.
▪
Records before 2000 are held in bound registers and take ten working days.
▪
Transcripts are not issued while tuition or hostel dues are outstanding.
Can I collect a sealed transcript in person?
Yes. Bring your identity card and the payment receipt. The envelope is handed over sealed and must stay sealed; if you open it, it becomes an attested copy and cannot be used for admission.
Will the university send a transcript to WES or ECE?
Yes. Enter the evaluation agency as the receiving institution and provide its reference number. WES accepts the digital transcript; ECE requires a sealed print sent directly by the university.
What if I need the transcript urgently?
Choose tatkal processing at the time of application. It costs ₹1,000 extra and is completed in two working days, provided the records are available in the register and there are no outstanding dues.
Queries about a destination, a courier or a sealed copy are handled by the records office.
